I’m staying at the Best Western Astor Hotel this time, on Makati Avenue just down from Jupiter Street. I typically don’t like staying down at this end of Makati Ave but there is some gentrification going on around here. When you walk out of the hotel, the street hawkers try to push Cialis on you, though. I guess I now look like I need it.

Anyway, it’s P4,000 per night net - but you pre-pay on check in, a practice that happens in this area of Makati that I abhor. The hotel is fine. And they now have wi-fi in the rooms! But you gotta pay P200 per hour.
