I’m listening, over the web, to David Martinez and Lela Noble discuss Partitioning the Philippines at Stanford University on April 13th.  The audio file is found here.

But I need to write a letter to the President of a large utility that might have some bearing on my ability to keep food on the table for my family in the coming months.  As fascinating as the discussions are, I can’t immediately relate it to my task at hand.

I know there’s a connection - I just don’t immediately see it.  So I have to interrupt myself.
