PLDT’s DSL service to my residence in Davao City has been down a lot lately - I mean 3,4,6 hours at a time. I understand it’s sometimes much worse.

And, of course, they don’t communicate with me to let me know why or what’s going on! So I give them no break.

Fortunately, I don’t have to sit here and just take it. I can publish comments about the quality of DSL service from PLDT.

Here’s a no-brainer hint to their Davao operations department - if you’ve got a wide-area outage (and yesterday’s was - maybe today’s), send out an e-mail. You know who we are - you cash our checks every month.

If they did that I would sing the praises of PLDT over the mountaintops of all the world and happily persevere shoulder-to-shoulder with them through all the difficulties we face in the Philippines.
