Ha! Bob Martin, of Mindanao Blog fame, catches me eating durian suman at Hanoi restaurant in Davao City. Instead of my head, he should have captured a pic of the suman - a much more interesting story.

Minnette - who like me thinks Amanda Bynes rocks - has a post on this particular dish here, but alas she doesn’t capture a picture of it either.

By the way, this is where Market Man misses out by being in Luzon. Neither he nor anyone else I can find on the net has come anywhere close to capturing the essense (not a pun) of Durian Suman as prepared (created?) by the Hanoi folks in Davao. This is not street food by any stretch of the imagination.

Back to Bob.
