So I’m in Pete’s Coffee last night picking up a pound of Ethiopian coffee beans, look down near the register while I’m waiting on my beans to be weighed and guess what?

Tonight they are offering taste tests (from a press pot) of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee!

My first taste of coffee from these babies. And it was sublime. $80 a pound.

I left feeling a lettle less bad about the $13 I was paying for the Ethiopian and with a great big smile on my face, still savoring the flavor of those Blue Mountain beans. Wow.

My birthday is March 7 if anyone needs a gift idea.

[Correction: It was Kenyan I was buying at 13 bucks - very good. The Ethopian beans are 3 bucks cheaper .]
