Choice Time May 7, 2005
Seth talks about a new type of digital divide:

I believe this fits somehow into my developing ideas (starting way back here) about new forms of consulting in the Philippine power sector - not your father’s Oldsmobile. I’m still bringing the pieces together.
But follow his syllogism:
- The digiterati are your most influential customers; they propagate ideas
- Digerati are using the learning tools built into the Net to get smarter, faster
- New Net tools can propogate to millions in just a week or two.
- This means that the divide between the digerati and the rest of the world is accelerating.
- So, it’s choice time. Jump in with both feet. Or take a look at the headstart and decide that it’s just too much work.
Over at tompeters! they’re talking about Blogging vs. Doing and what Tom describes as “Ready, aim, aim, aim, aim …” in an environment where survival requires a Ready. Fire! Aim. approach.
