Blogging from Malaybalay City, Philippines

Getting Flat May 3, 2005

Jesusito Sulit (who has more knowledge about the Philippine power system in his little finger than I’ll ever gain in my lifetime), in Transco’s comments to the ERC, thinks it would be a good idea to limit Grid Management Committee (GMC) members to only those that have electrical engineering degrees!

What the GMC will need most is uniqueness, creativity, innovation, initiative, and resourcefulness. And this is plentiful throughout the Philippines.

But go read Doc Sears’, Sr. Editor of the Linux Journal, article here from last week and then come back and tell me you want to limit your pool of candidates to EEs.
