Glocal Journalism February 19, 2005
Jay Rosen talks about Doug McGill and his concept of glocal journalism. I hate the sound of the term, but it’s exactly what I’m doing here at Mamutong. Prime case in point are my posts today about the PNP (Philippine National Police), the U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines, and the explosion at the utility substation in northern Luzon.
I’m sitting in Sacramento at the moment exposing the world to local Philippine issues that have global significance.
